What we collect

• Account info: Email address and optional display name when you sign up.
• Your pottery data: Pieces, photos, glaze selections, annotations, and notes you create.
• Usage analytics: Page views and basic interaction data via Vercel Analytics (no personal identifiers, no cookies for tracking).

What we don’t collect

• We don’t sell your data. Ever.
• We don’t run third-party ad trackers.
• We don’t share your data with advertisers.
• We don’t use your photos to train AI models.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in the US). Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. The app is served by Vercel.

AI features

When you use AI-powered features (glaze advice, troubleshooting, description parsing), your query and relevant context are sent to Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini). These providers process your request and return a response. Your data is not used to train their models.

Sharing

When you share a piece, its photos and glaze data become visible to other Kilnside users. You can unshare at any time. Unshared pieces are only visible to you.

Your rights

• Export: You can export your data at any time.
• Delete: You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Correct: You can edit or remove any data you’ve entered.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication (keeping you logged in). We don’t use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and note what changed. For significant changes, we’ll notify you in the app.
